Caring Connections

Caring Connections

Caring Connections is a unique mental health treatment program for older adults (age 65 and over) struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, chronic illness, or other aging-related changes.

Our program is unique, due to its structured setting. The patients in our program attend psychotherapy 2-4 days per week and see a psychiatrist for optional medication management. Our primary method of treatment is group psychotherapy, but patients may also receive individual, marriage, and family therapy.

Group therapy, while sometimes an intimidating concept, is proven to be very effective for older adults. One of the most frequently reported challenges of our attendees is loneliness. The group setting provides a welcoming, caring, and supportive environment.

Upon discharge from our program, our patients experience a 65% reduction in depressive symptoms and a 21% reduction in anxiety symptoms.

Patients begin their journey with Caring Connections with a FREE assessment. Anyone can refer (physicians, family, friends, and pastors) to Caring Connections. You can even refer yourself! If you or someone you love are experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety (listed below –this is not an all-inclusive list), we can help.
